Our annual Aussie Night – a celebration of Australia Day. In true Australian summer style, the temperature on this day was around 42 C (that’s 108 F)! By the time we arrived at the hall at 5pm to set up, it had dropped to 41! The airconditioning was working hard and despite the heat, we had 40 people booked in for the BBQ at the start. This was superbly cooked and catered by our venue hosts, the West Croydon Kilkenny RSL. Thanks to all who joined us and thanks to Dawn for providing the additional catering of pavlovas, cakes etc.
