Earlier this week we celebrated the occasion of 4 July with our American Night. Wonderful to see many dressed in red, white and blue. We enjoyed the culinary delights of mini hot dogs and donuts as well as dancing a musical journey across the states of the USA.

All dressed in green and enjoying a spud meal thanks to Ivy’s Kitchen. Again we celebrate St Patrick’s and danced to Irish music and songs. Thanks to all who came along. Special “Hi” to Patti and Jean from some years ago who came to watch and to Stewie and Ronnie from the South East.
2023-02 Valentines’ Dinner Dance
Photos from our Valentines dinner & dance. A full on meal from the resident Ivy’s Kitchen and then Learners and Mainstream. Great to see many dressed in red and a good healthy number of learners on their second night including some new starters. A nice surprise to have a visit from Doona and Tony Bowring from Victoria and a chance to dance to Tony’s calling.
2023-02 New Learners’ Group starts
The first night of intake for our new learners’ group. A wonderful happy group of 20 people of mixed ages who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There’s something about the joy of people trying something new and loving it! We’re open to new starters for the rest of February so spread the word. Can’t wait to see how this settles out.

2022-12 Xmas Break up
Our Xmas dinner and breakup to finish off 2022.
A little different this time as our caller couldn’t be there being off sick. Huge thanks to Scotty Scott for running the night at short notice – appreciated by us all. The night started with a cooked dinner (roast turkey for many, other choices as well). Thanks to Ivy’s Kitchen at the RSL. As well as Scotty it was good to see Les and Anne Tulloch drop in and hear Les call and of course Ian Rutter.
Biggest thanks to Dawn who soldiered on and made sure everything went to plan.
Wishing all our dancers a very Merry Xmas and Happy New year. See you on Mon 16th Jan when we re-open.
