DANCING POST COVID

Whilst the Energency Declaration has been lifted and there is no requirement for Covid Safe Plans, we are still practising good hygiene procedures.

What this means is:

Masks are not mandatory and we recognise anyone’s desire to wear them on and off the dancefloor.

We recommend you continue to use hand sanitiser between dance brackets and before having supper (or any food).

We choose not to offer shared (buffet style) food – we have individualised serves.

Avoid communal water fountains etc – we encourage bringing your own water bottles.

CLOSE CONTACTS

Even though SA Health has relaxed the “Close Contacts” isolation requirement, we are asking the following:
If you are a close contact, we ask that you do not attend the club for 7 days.
Before returning, please take the time to ensure that you have a negative RAT test.
If there are any doubts, please wear a mask.

This decision is our choice and is because we are all in close proximity when dancing.
Thanks for your co-operation.

Is there a mandate on vaccinations to attend the club?

We are relying on most people getting their shots. Vaccination reduces the symptoms if you are unfortunate enough to catch Covid. It is for your own health.

We believe that most will, yet we are not mandating a booster shot for attendance.

We do believe in building community resistance so encourage our dancers to get their boosters as soon as they are eligible.

Final word

This is a rapidly changing environment.

It may well change again and we will do our utmost to be resilient and adapt to these changes.

We need your support. Let’s keep the clubs and dancing alive.

We’re happy to provide any clarification if you are not clear on what we have said.
