2025-07 NATIONAL CONVENTION – QUEENSLAND

65 South Australians travelled to Morayfiled, just north of Brisbane, to take part in the 5 day 65th Australian National Square Dance Convention. We’re proud to say that a significant number of them were from the Adelaide Outlaws club. Here’s some videos and photos of our dancers (and caller) at that event.

2025-02 Valentine’s Dance

We love our dancing, we love each others’ company, we love the music. What’s not to love on a Valentine’s Theme night at the Adelaide Outlaws Square Dance Club in Adelaide, South Australia. Here’s some footage & photos of our learners and mainstream dancers and caller Graham Elliott.

2025-02 A Hot Night at the Outlaws!

These guys deserve a medal!

It was a 41 degC day following a hot weekend. We weren’t sure who would come out to the dance. Sure, we have airconditioning but you know, get frocked up, drive out there in full sun & heat (dance starts at 7pm).

But they came! They danced! Here are our learners and MS dancers dancing for a “Cool Change”.

Gotta love an Aussie summer. Gotta love dancer dedication!

2024-12 Plus Club Xmas dance

Our last dance for 2024 was the Plus club Xmas dance. Thanks to all who joined us – it was a lovely atmosphere and a great way to finish off the year. Thanks to Dawn for capturing the video and photos and thanks to those who brought along some wonderful cheesecakes, treats for supper at the end.

Enjoy the break and Plus re-opens on Jan 15th 2025.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to dancers everywhere!

2024-12 Christmas Dinner Dance

So another year comes to an end and we celebrate with our annual Xmas Dinner and Dance. A wonderful crowd joined us for a catered Xmas dinner prepared by Ivy’s Kitchen at the RSL. Then the dancing was on for Learners and Mainstream dancers alike.

Great to have some guest calls from Les Tulloch, Ivan Cooke, Ian Rutter, young Elijah and Peter Stavast, Big hugs to Dawn for preparing an eclectic supper and some wonderful raffle prizes. When the cool change blew in early in the evening you could hear the collective “aaaaaah”.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to all our members, friends and square dancers everywhere. Keep the dance alive!!
