We celebrated our 36th birthday in September with a “Colours of Spring” theme. The repsonse was overwhelming – with visitors from so many clubs. Thanks to the visiting callers too who came and entertained us. A special mention to the long distance travellers from Mt Gambier, Naracoorte and Victor Harbor – wow, thank you. Everyone looked wonderful in their colourful outfits and the atmosphere was just so happy. Big thanks to Dawn who managed to welcome everyone, manage a Covid friendly supper and still be bubbly as always! Big thanks to all who came – we appreciate your support. We certainly appreciate not all clubs are dancing at the moment and we count every club night as a blessing in this volatile environment. The irony is that the next day our State went into a 7 day Covid lockdown so we’ll have ot skip a week. We made it!! It was a long learner’s program thanks to the Covid shutdown last year but congratulations to our 10 new dancers who stuck with us. Finally finished the Mainstream program and celebrated on Mon 28 June. Well done all of you!

Celebrating Easter! We began with a pre-dance meal by Ivy’s Kitchen – magnificent as usual!! Lovely crowd and very colourful too. A wonderful evening’s entertainment. We also reflected upon our friend Tim Cartmel – he would have enjoyed the night too!

Now well established in our new venue, this is our St Patricks Spud Night held on Mon March 15th 2021. Whislt we have been dancing for 6 months now since the restart after Covid , it is interesting to note that it is exactly one year since we had to shutdown when the Pandemic hit – our last night was St Patricks 2020.

This year – a great occasion with the resident chefs, Ivy’s Kitchen, cooking and serving up some beautifully cooked spuds and toppings. The night had a vibrant atmosphere with lots of Irish music and everyone dressed in green.
