We celebrated Halloween again this year, albeit one week early (to avoid clashing with another function). Great to see so many dress the part AND our learners also joined in the theme!
We took the opportunity to award some more 10 year membership awards and congratulations to Pauline, Ronda, Robert and Glenda. Thanks for your loyalty and friendship!

Another Halloween rolls around and we go crazy decorating the hall and dressing up. This year we incorporated outr learners into the whole night and danced to the Hallowween songs and feasted on a VERY interesting looking supper. Thanks to all who came and the crew who helped set up and take it all down again.

It was an entertaining night as we threw on a Halloween theme for our October 31st dance. Great to see so many people dress in the theme and thoroughly enjoy themselves. A big thanks to our committee and helpers who decorated the hall and manned the spider bar.
Check out a live action video during the “Monster Mash”. Watch for the crazy swinging witch! (Click on bottom right corner to enlarge to full screen)
Our annual Spooks Ball was a fun night. People really dressed the part and entered into the “spirit” of it all. Supper was anything but dull with some very creative, dare I say worrying, food on offer. Many Halloween songs and some creepy sound effects during the breaks. Great job by the committee and helpers in setting up the hall – particularly while the learners were underway.
We welcomed Alan and Jane Evans from Qld who were over for Kanella’s Plus Birthday and we enjoyed a bracket of Alan’s calling.
Our annual Hallowe’en dance was held on Mon 27th October and what a great atmosphere. Great costumes and a big thanks to the committee and helpers for setting the scene with the amazing hall decorations. Also some very imaginative food!!
Here’s some photos of the interesting array of outfits on the night. (Click on photos to enlarge).
