As February comes around we hold our annual Valentine’s Charity Dance. The scene is set with hearts and cupids decorations, the mood is set by dancing to love songs and the dancers are set in their reds and pinks to complement the theme.
As is custom we also operate a pre-loved square dance clothing sale during the night and this proved quite timely for our current group of dancers learning with us.
All proceeds from the night go to a charity we vote upon and this year it was the
Royal Flying Doctor Service – a valuable asset to our rural communities.
Thanks to our helpers who set up the hall, to Nigel and Sheila who operated the the clothing stalls and to Alistair who provided his coffee machine as a welcome distraction.
