A full-on night this one!! We’ll be serving spuds from 7pm. Please book if you’d like to join us for a spud tea.

We need your talent!! If you’d like to sing, read poetry, do a dance, perform magic, call a square dance or anything you’d like to share – please let us know. This is a chance to be part of the program and it is not being judged – it’s just for fun. Let Graham know as soon as possible so we can program the evening.

We have also just heard that a Japanese caller will be joining us on this night (and on the Wed Plus). You may recall Duke Okada who visited us about 18 months ago. He and his wife are coming over to Adelaide for a visit and we look forward to meeting them again and having him call.

So, spuds, various talents and a guest caller will make this a night not to be missed. We look forward to seeing you there.

Valentine’s Charity Dance – Feb 11th

Bear hearts 

Come and join us for our annual Valentie’s dance. Dress in reds and pinks and bring a basket supper. I believe strawberries are a nice shade of Valentine red! The proceeds of the night will be donated to a charity of your choosing. We have a voting sheet at the club if you would like to nominate a charity. Oh yes and of course there will be the obligatory love songs 🙂

Aussie Night BBQ & Dance Jan 28

Come join us for our annual aussie night dance on Monday January 28th. There will be a BBQ with salads provided at 7pm and the dance follows at 8pm. Please book asap if you want to join us for the BBQ so we can cater for you. The hall will be decorated in Aussie style and we guarantee an entertaining evening. Come along in Aussie clobber – green, gold colours and let’s celebrate Australia Day. (No thongs please mate!)

Cost for BBQ and dance is $6 members, $8 non-members.  All welcome!

Christmas Break Up dates

It’s been a fantastic year and we want you to join us for a celebration of Christmas and the break up for 2007.

Mainstream

Monday Dec 17th: Break up dance. Dress in colourful Xmas colours and join us for a night of fun. Basket supper please – the tastier the better! We will be alternating brackets of MS and learners level (now just past the Basic list). Learners start 6:45 and MS start 8pm.

Plus

Wednesday Dec 19th: Our last night for the year so come along and join us for a night of fun at Plus. Dress in colourful Xmas colours and bring a basket supper. 8pm – 10pm.

Hallowe’en Dance Oct 29th 2007

Dawn and Graham will return from their trip in time for the Monday October 29th Halowe’en dance.

Come join us for a theme night – wear black, ghostly whites or even blood red. It’ll be a basket supper. The more disgusting, the better! The hall will be decorated and we may even diim the lights.

Great entertainment, great people, we’d love to see you there.

Adelaide Outlaws 22nd Birthday Celebration – on the 22nd!!

On Saturday September 22nd, we’ll be celebrating our 22nd Birthday. We invite square dancers everywhere to come and join us for our party.

This year we’re holding it at the William Light School Hall, Errington St, Plympton. It’ll be a Country & Western theme so there’s plenty of scope to dress for the occasion. We’re pleased to feature one of Australia’s more popular callers, Nev McLachlan from Buderim in Queensland. Nev does a great job and you will enjoy his calling.

Our sessions this year will be:

Plus: 6:00 – 7:20pm

Rounds: 7:30 – 8:00pm

Square Dancing (MS with some Plus): 8:00 – late.

When you come, bring a basket supper and an enthusiasm for a great night’s entertainment. We look forward to seeing you there.
